Are you a new PCP, or looking for a refresher course in Precinct Committee Person? Not yet a PCP but thinking about signing up? The new PCP 101 Handbook is now available for download.
This Handbook contains information to help you understand what a Precinct Committee Person is, what a PCP does, and how to become an effective PCP. It helps you understand how the Democratic Party works in Washington County: what your part in the WCDCC is; how to know your turf; and how to be very good at representing your precinct. This handbook, along with personalized training in group or one-on-one, lays the foundation for your PCP activities with the Washington County Democrats.
You will learn some of the many ways that you can help get Democratic candidates elected. By working as a Precinct Committee Person you are the Democratic Party at its grassroots best. You have your own part of your neighborhood that you can get to know, educate, and motivate to vote. What we do this year not only makes a difference in the next election, it builds a sustainable base for the future.
