A crowd of 70 people gathered in front of Rep. Greg Walden's office Saturday, February 25th for a Healthcare Rally. An invitation was sent to Walden earlier in the week but no reply was given. One empty chair was provided in case he decided to show up. Families with young children, someone in a wheelchair, retired and working folks were there to show Walden that they won't stand for repealing the ACA or changing Medicare or Medicaid. The rally ended with a show of hands by people involved in the many progressive organizations in the area, including Union County Democrats.
